Our Story

Hello! I’m Joanna Carter, the owner and creator of Dejati.com. My journey into the culinary world began at the Culinary Institute of America, where I earned my degree in Culinary Arts. Following this, I pursued a Master’s in Nutrition from New York University, combining my love for food with a deep understanding of nutrition.

At Dejati.com, I lead a small but dedicated team of professionally trained chefs. Together, we develop, photograph, and film all the recipes you find on our site. My work has been featured in renowned publications such as Food Network Magazine, The New York Times, Cooking Light, Bon Appetit, and Better Homes and Gardens.
